This is Life surrounding me -
dragonflies and bumblebees,
birds, squirrels, people, trees...
Let me be alive and free -
please, let me be real.
Feet on earth are sinking in,
breeze plays against my sun-warmed skin,
often so yang, let me be yin
and receive sweet grace.
Raindrops fall from bright-cloud sky,
I sit in awe and wonder why,
secured within the house am I
more so often than not.
My mind unloosens its tight grip
around my heart, around my lips,
Lightly tickled as raindrops drip
on my a…

It means everything and it means nothing
My connection with the goddess grows
with each deepening wrinkle;
She is me - I am that.
The motion of Eternity pulls me forward into Life -
germination, growth, ripening...
I pray that my fruit be sweet and nourishing,
I pray for fulfillment of my soul;
recognition of the beauty (within/without) I hold Lightly.
In wonder, I gaze on the forms of this life
and feel awe at the current running through me,
through us all.

Anyone else out there go?
It was my first time seeing Krishna Das. I found his storytelling quite funny and personable as he offered his experience of being a westerner living in an Indian temple for several years. He is very real. I like that.
